Long Island Student Accused Of Choking Teacher After iPhone Is Taken Away
" ELMONT, NY (CBSNewYork) - A Long Island student was arrested on Friday for viciously attacking a 50-year-old teacher.

The attack happened in the hallway atĀ Elmont Memorial High School on Long Island, according to WCBS 880′s Sophia Hall.

Police say 17-year-old Umair Hameed of Valley Stream was stopped by a teacher for playing loud music from his iPhone when Hameed refused to turn off the music "
