History Shows Kentucky’s NCAA Title Means Yankees Will Win The World Series
" NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Kentucky’s NCAA title could be a good omen for a 28th championship season for the New York Yankees.

The last six times the Wildcats have won a national championship in 1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996 and 1998, the Yankees have gone on to win the World Series the same year.
