Police: 3 Arrested After Attempted Carjacking At NJ Mall
" ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) — Charges are pending against two men and a woman allegedly involved in a failed attempt to carjack a woman and her two children at a mall in northern New Jersey.

Port Authority Police spokesman Al Della Fave says the woman told authorities she drove off after one man fired at least two shots during the carjacking bid, which occurred around 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth "
