Nets’ Williams Named Eastern Conference Player Of The Week
" NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — It’s early, but it appears Deron Williams is a different player than a season ago.

The veteran point guard has done basically everything right of late and on Monday was rewarded for it, as he was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

It marked the fourth time Williams has won an NBA Player of the Week award and is his first since joining Brooklyn during the 2010-11 season.

Williams helped the Nets (4-2) to three wins in four games last week, averaging 20.8 points, 7.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 37.3 minutes "
